Hi! I’m Randy Laracca. I’m an ACE certified fitness trainer and I’m passionate about helping you achieve your fitness and fat loss goals. In fact if you’re looking for results driven fitness and fat loss program – this is the place for you! All my youth life I was very athletic. I played sports year round and basically ate whatever I wanted. Maybe you can relate.

Fast forward a few years to when it finally caught up with me. After almost 2 decades in the working world running my auto business, the detrimental effects of my long hours and poor diet had taken a serious toll. I had put over 90lbs, and I didn’t know how to get it off. On top of the weight gain, my stress levels were through the roof. I had trouble sleeping and felt like a loose cannon the majority of the time. I tried crazy diets. I tried hours on the treadmill or elliptical. I would lose a couple of pounds, but the weight always came back. Like many people, I felt hopeless. I felt insecure, and I was ready to give up! Maybe you can relate now.

At the age of 37 I was introduced to resistance training and high intensity cardio. The combination of these two really helped me get me back in shape in a relatively short time. I finally felt like myself again! The weight came off. My energy came back. I was sleeping soundly, and my stress levels were normal for the first time in years! Most importantly, I regained my confidence and sparked passion for fitness again. From that point forward, I made it my mission to help others make sustainable changes and realize the healthiest version of themselves. I started training youth athletics and coaching Lacrosse on nights and weekends, but I wanted to have a bigger impact. That’s when I decided to open Off the Wall Fitness and dedicate my life to helping others change theirs.

I am so excited to bring this HIIT training to our community! You CAN change the way you feel. You CAN change the way you look. You CAN get your confidence back! A better life starts with taking care of yourself and prioritizing your health. You will get results when you work with us. I can’t wait for you to experience what you are truly capable of doing!

This is way overdue...
I want to thank you for your guidance and dedication with health and fitness.  I've always been an active individual who hasn't had issues with my health or keeping up physically, but there was plenty of room for improvement.
As you know I travel for a living, and I'd pretty much convinced myself that the hotel gyms were a sufficient outlet to keep in shape.  I tried your gym just looking for a few pointers to add to my 'on the road' workouts.
Well...not so much!
I HAVE learned quite a lot, but also found a place to call home for working out!  I'm hooked!
I have achieved results I've never experienced before with the workouts you put us thru, and people have noticed.   I get compliments, and I'm being asked what I'm doing to get the muscle definition.  Well, I'm more than happy to sing your praises!  I'm getting strong, toned, and in shape.  Perhaps the best I've ever been in.

I'm grateful you had inspiration to enter this line of work.  So many of us who are members of OFF the WALL FITNESS are benefiting.
One difference I notice is that you care about us all, and there's never any judgement.  It's a fun and positive atmosphere.
We have a fitness family thanks to you.

Dear Randy,

I wanted to thank you for providing a healthy and encouraging community called Off the wall Fitness.

I have physically benefited from off the wall fitness and I have enjoyed getting to know you and everyone who is a part of this community you created.

I appreciate you coaching style and I look forward to continuing my physical development under your training.

As far as results go, since I started going to Off The Wall Fitness I have

  • Lost 25 poundsgoing from 200lbs to 175lbs
  • Decreased my total cholesterolfrom weight loss and better food choices
  • Gainedthe strength to do more pullups , pushups, squats, leg lifts, dips, tuck jumps, squats cone sprints, kettle bell swings, burpees …….. than I ever thought I would.

I am in better shape than I have ever been, and I was amazed at how this routine has even given me the ability to run 9.4 miles on a whim.  I was able to enjoy this run with a surprising amount of energy.  I also suffered no ill effects even though I have not been regularly running.

Finally, I appreciate the fact that you keep Off The Wall Fitness a dynamic place to train by adding things like weight liftingboxingkettle bells, and FitRanX to the core interval training.

You have done a good job creating a healthy community of people who congratulate and cheer for each other.  I look forward to playing more SoftballBasketball and who knows what with the Off The Wall Fitness community.

Hi Randy,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us.  Its nice to be asked for input.  Having said that, it’s hard to come up with suggestions for improvement because I’ve been so happy with the experience and the results.

 

Just in case you didn’t know, I’ve not only reached my weight goal of 180 lbs but I maintained it through my Achilles recovery and I’m now I’m even creeping under 180. I also surpassed my goal of getting into 33” waist pants.  The 33s are a bit loose so I bought some 32s!  I’ve been thinking it’s time to set some new goals.  I have a few ideas but maybe sitting down with you would help me nail down some specific goals that will push me forward.

 

One thing I really enjoy about the program is the variety.  Changing things up keeps it physically challenging and mentally stimulating. Now that I’m coming 5-6 days a week I’m starting to see more repeated exercises, yet I know there are only so many options with limited space and equipment.  With that in mind your recent purchases are spot-on.  The paired kettle bells open up some new exercises and the speed bag is fun! The padded jump boxes have definitely given some members the courage to attempt higher jumps than they would on the wooden boxes.

 

A while back you introduced some of the morning regulars to some new routines. I enjoyed the change of pace and the emphasis on power lifting & strength.  Any time you can work those moves into the rotation would be good.  For instance I was happy to see the Turkish Get-Up in the boxing workout.

 

So to summarize, I’d like some guidance setting goals and continued variety in the workouts with emphasis on building strength.

 

How does that sound?
